“Although the rural scene has attracted much of my attention I feel a variety of subjects is essential for growth.
Currently, I am involved in an effort of work with the abstract qualities and chance patterns of light and color. I have added additional colors to my palette and continue to experiment. I have chosen oil paint as my primary media because I feel it is most expressive and more adaptable for the detailed work I prefer, as well as having proven durable qualities.
I continue to follow a natural inclination towards a variety of subjects but documenting the older rural structures of this area remain a goal in recording a passing life style.”
